Mike and Ragnhild first met in the YWAM Skien office in October 2011. Their first adventure, a week later, was part of a great European outreach that took them to Kosovo and Macedonia, via Sweden and Serbia. Their friendship grew in the coming months, over coffee breaks at work, library visits and walks in the snow.
As spring started showing her face in 2012, they realized that they didn't like being apart, and in May it was official: they were a couple! More outreaches and trips followed: to England, Scotland, Latvia and Denmark, and they journeyed over the mountain to visit Ragnhild´s family on the west coast, where Mike was welcomed with open arms. Ragnhild didn´t get to meet the Beaudreaus before June 2013, when they had a long summer holiday in warm (and rainy) Georgia.
Right after returning home to Norway, on July 27 2013, he asked her to marry him, and she replied "Of course!" Since then they have counted down to the day they will be married, and believe that June 28 will be a glorious day.
